APN Natures Textures Contest entry. [link]
Request Critiques I decided to enter this photo because there are so many different textures, color, and form to the mushroom. Nature added an extra bonus, its food for the snail, which the snail itself has texture. The home the snail carries shows it jurney marks, and the slime trails shows where he has been on the mushroom. The mushroom feeds on the bark of the stump, leaves, dew and soil, so everything nature provides, has a purpose. But what is truely wonderful to me, is how nature graces us all with its own work of art. I feel we are all winners, whether we win the contest or not, because we all took the time to see what nature offers. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
